The town is along the old Etruscan coast, it is very near the promontory of Baratti-Populonia and to the center of an important Etruscan archeological area, it is also near the "Parchi della Val di Cornia", "Parco Gallorose", "Giardino Sospeso" and "Cavallino Matto".
It is only a few kilometers away from the embarkation for the isles of Tuscany archipelago: isle of Elba, isle of Giglio and isle of Giannutri. The nearby "Spa of Caldana" also allow a curative stay.
"The way of wine" lets us meet the famous old wine cellars such as Sassicaia and Ornellaia.
Along the way of wine we can meet some medioeval little towns such as Campiglia M.ma, Suvereto, Sassetta, Castagneto Carducci e Bolgheri.
